Abstract

This article analyzes the place occupied by the teaching of orthography in the Uruguayan educational system, therefore, the relevance given to the set of norms that regulate the writing of our language: through the analysis of the space allocated in plans and programs from primary and secondary education to teacher training, especially the Spanish Language career.
The motivation has been to describe the course of the orthographic content from primary education to teacher training, especially Spanish language teachers, and to explain the crack through which many students succumb.
Finally promote an original method to master Spelling reflecting from one’s own experience.
