Abstract

The work is developed at the Medical University of Villa Clara, Cuba, in the Health Rehabilitation Career, and its purpose is to propose a system of teaching tasks for practical classes in the subject Morphophysiology in the Podiatry profile. The population is made up of sixty-six students who make up the enrollment of the Bachelor’s Degree in Health Rehabilitation; the sample is made up of twelve first-year students; the quantitative criterion of the research is followed, and theoretical and empirical methods are used to support the research. From these it is determined that in the normative documents there are potentials and deficiencies to develop a system of teaching areas for the practical class. The teachers have a high command of the contents, the students are interested in the subject, they assume the need of the practical class; it is proved that there are deficiencies in the methodological procedure of the practical class, scarce self-preparation of the students and inexistence of a system of tasks for the improvement of the teaching-learning process. According to the criteria of the specialists consulted, such a system is feasible to be applied.
